AI in Software Testing: What is it good for?

Artificial Intelligence is no longer a term only used in research. More and more applications in software testing promise breathtaking cost and time savings through the clever use of artificial intelligence. It seems that every type of tool today has its own AI. But what is actually behind it? In this presentation, I will show you what is meant by AI in software testing and how it can be used in practice. I will also give a short insight into askui to show concrete benefits and its limitations.

Jonas Menesklou studied industrial engineering (M.Sc.) at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology with a focus on user-centric IT security and QA. He is co-founder and CEO of the Karlsruhe startup askui, which focuses on AI-based UI automation. Parallel to his work with and in startups, he is the organizer of the communities Software Testing Karlsruhe and Automation Advocates where thousands of testers share content every day.
